I had a really busy weekend. I had to work on saturday night. It was a lot of fun though. I really enjoy my job, for the most part.

I'm glad you like piano. I love it, it's one of my favorite imstraments(it does help that I play =D) You know, it's often harder to play slow songs than fast. Well, to play them well at least. It becomes really obvious if you miss a note while playing slow than fast. Fast means it's easier to cover the mistake.

What have you been up to? Do you have any plans for valentines day?

I've listened to Rammstein. I like Megaherz better though. There is one song from them that I adore, it's the 5. Marz. It rocks!

It's kinda funny because some of my friends are really shocked that I like the hard metal( I don't seem like a rocker chick aparently XD) Well, I guess I would say that I'm not really a rocker chick, it's just one of the many types of music that I like.

As for the classics, there are sooo many other than Beethoven and Mozart! There's also Schubert(whom I love!!) and Haydn, and Bach. A lot of music theory and the way to compose music came out of Germany. I had to study a bunch of old german composers. Germans are very innovative.

I really want to visit Germany too :) I also want to go to Italy! I would love to visit the libraries and see the music tomes. I've transcribed a bunch of old tomes into modern music( it was from facsimiles though not the actual work). It's tough and very time consuming but it was a interesting. I don't think it's something I would ever choose to do on my own though >_< so much work!

I agree, german grammar is tough. But it's a very structured language with few exceptions, unlike English. I really like it for some reason. I've been learning it for more than a year. I think it's a lot of fun to sing in German, it's very pretty. Germans are good musicians, especially in classical music.

You're right, most guys do have some sort of expecatation. It can be a real drag and I don't like to deal with it. Luckily, many of the guys that I know aren't like that at all. Which is why we've stayed good friends, probably. I'm sure that there are some guys in Norway that like to read :) I think it also might be a High School thing cause it was like that for me then too, everyone(including me!) was so shy about relationships. It was different when I got to college. Although, it's also easier to get away from people that I didn't care to be around =^.^=

No worries about the time :) I'm sure you're busy this time of year. Me too. There's so much that I want to accomplish and there are always a lot of things to deal with. How's the studying going?

Hahaha.. wow.. well your guitar was made in diff places all over the world.. thats special.. hahahaha.. you can just say it was shipped from country to countrty to finish the guitar.. so its an expensive piece of work.. ahahaha.. i can still play some.. its almost like learning to ride a bike... you never forget... hmm.. well i go shopping online as well.. but i made a limit for myself.. never to buy anything higher than $50 online... so if anything happens it wouldnt be as bad.. you know what i mean? and i make sure the seller is legit.. but these days you never know.. it doesnt even matter how many good feedback the person has on eBay but.. ah well.. soo where do you buy your anime? is there any stores there at all? theres gotta be some chinese people sellin them somewhere.. i wasnt really born here in canada.. i was born and grew up in the philippines.. but i learned english before our own language.. my parents figured it was easier to learn filipino growing up there than english.. so i was always good at speaking english... i remember i had friends when i was younger that were scared to hang out with me because they couldnt understand me.. muhhahahahhahahah.. this was when i didnt know how to speak filipino..hahahahahaha.. but well eventually i learned our language.. and everything went well.. we had anime there too.. it wasnt really a problem.. they showed them on tv as well!

There are a lot of shy people here as well :) And getting hit on by a guy is not really a fun thing at time. I've been stopped in the street. And that was strange to me. Although, I think the strangest place is the library. lol. I go to the library to study, not to get asked out by guy. I don't get it.

I'm a very cautious person when it comes to relationships. I like really knowing someone before really dating them. I think you're right about things clicking. The situation is a little different though, at least for me. I just hope he has the patience for me :) We'll see, I still haven't made up my mind.

As for something special, hmm, I had a birthday party this last week. I kept forgetting it was my birthday, but it was a rough week. I had a lot on my mind because a really close friend of mine was in a terrible accident. She's out of the hospital now, but there are lasting consequences.

Wow, that sounds like you had some excitement! You sooo do not want to know how ghetto my high school was. It looks like a prison now, with 8 ft of fence and two more of barbed wire on top. We also have metal detecors now. It wasn't like that when I graduated, but it was moving in that direction...yikes!

Hmmm, the black and white ball. It wasn't just a girls night out. I had a date. A good friend of mine asked me out. It was a little awkward at first. I'm still not sure if I want to be anything other than friends with him...so it was a little awkward for me, and there were some other complications...sigh, too much drama. Still I had a lot of fun, and after the first few songs on the dance floor we just had a blast.

We went to a really nice Italian restaurant, the food was divine :) Food in SF is very very good and there are many amazing resaurants :) Then we went to a hotel for the Ball. We met a bunch of our friends that came from all over northern california. I won't say that I knew everyone there cause that would just be impossble but it was fun catching up with those I did know and meeting new people. I missed the count down because my date and I were outside talking, by then it was sooo hot in the hotel! I don't regret it though.

I hope you had a lovely New Year! I had a great time. New Years is a holiday I usually spend with friends and not family. This year my friends and I went to a Black and White Ball, a semi formal dance. We went to San Fransisco which was a blast. SF is an interesting city in so many ways :)
